Skin resurfacing can refer to any number of different techniques including chemical peels, fractional resurfacing, and microdermabrasion. Aside from warmth or slight tingling sensations, skin resurfacing is often rather pain-free, and little to no downtime is required following treatment, but sun exposure should be avoided for a couple of weeks before and after treatment.

How Many Sessions Do I Need?

It is important to note that for optimal results with skin resurfacing procedures, several sessions are often recommended. These sessions are spread out over a few weeks to give the skin time to rest and breathe between each session.
